The Syndicate logo
In-universe history read off the floor's map by Mordecai: overlapping rings of different sizes — wormhole paths — and the ship Escape Velocity that found the wormhole to a Primal ship graveyard and the Vog generation ship, after which the Syndicate formed; six H'lene waystations that ate travellers until the Valtay and the orcs wiped them out; and the Plenty, a caprid race whose proprietary tunnelling gave the universe real-time communication and made Borant's relays obsolete.
