Iota
Hunter Iota, Crafter, level 50, Coin Tinker of the Crafter Alliance: a hairy, heart-headed cousin of the soothers with four pierced red nipples down his chest and a leg gone above the knee, teleported out of a saferoom pub into a pack of raptors, drunk enough to explain the primal AI before he dies mid-sentence. His nipple rings come out with a pop.

Arc
Teleported out of a saferoom pub into raptors, drunk for hours, one leg gone, he explains the primal AI — a used mantis mind that now refuses court orders — and dies mid-sentence under Carl's foot (ch. 53). One nipple ring is torn out by Carl's toe (ch. 53); the three remaining come out with a pop (ch. 54).
