This is what we lost
The floor's tally of the dead of the first night, seen alive: children at play; Sam, Mr Roth, Dick, Sally, Asher and his mother, heads on a hydra because they were collected; Mr Roth in his basement and the widowed Mrs Parsons, remembered alone; a Christmas that is March 20th; the president of the United States as a pterodactyl.
