Character · Book 7, This Inevitable Ruin

Damascus Steel

Assistant lead dancer at the Penis Parade, a level-75 Ifrit — metal to the touch, smoke from white eye sockets, baby-goat horns, faded ink and talon scars — Donut's favourite, and an NPC with the same spiderweb elbow tattoo as Carl. He walks Carl into the Guild of Suffering, weeps sizzling tears for his mother Astrid, hires his crew out to Carl for two floors, and goes with his brother Anaconda to fight their father and avenge their mother — 'This is family business,' says Anaconda.
