Arc

Drinking at the Possum Envy on the Reaver border (ch. 18), not answering messages, a dog that ate Mukta (ch. 28), unaffiliated and hiding (ch. 39). She walks into the Nest with a dog and cleaves Toyotomi, Bomo and the mages in half (ch. 70, ch. 71), crawls the ceiling of the Donkey Kong ramp — 'Give me your dinosaur […] It is justice I seek' — and, tumbling down tangled with a crab, 'I don’t want to play anymore' (ch. 71). Conscripted, she spits burning tequila at her own face, sits with 200 player-killer skulls and a child's perfume, and speaks as Diah: the dark, the cold, a river through the room, 'We take turns' (ch. 72). With Gustavo dead she stands unflinching in a gale tower's line: 'Now the Eulogist has another ally in the dungeon, and now you can't kill me. Not unless you want all the children of Earth to die' (ch. 72). Zev: 120,000 children in one wing, and if she goes they all go (ch. 73). Two nets on the Nest, one powered by the towers (ch. 75). She sobs on the ground at the end with Florin, Jurgen and Imani urging a deal, and parties with Florin into the stairwell (ch. 85, ch. 86).
