The Gleener Prime Minister of the Syndicate, whose children are among the half of the galaxy's wealth trapped in the Scolopendra Club, and who will not blow the star: 'You are literally asking us to destroy the economy and well-being of the entire galaxy.'

Arc

He orders Zev, personally, to keep Carl from Agatha (ch. 28); Orren hangs up on him (ch. 36); Rust's bank transfer is reported to him (ch. 36). He tries to assassinate Carl through a Syndicate override panel and the AI blocks it, threatens his adult children in-system, and forbids meddling (ch. 81); the Council calls a No Confidence vote; he apparently knew about Tagg (ch. 83).
