Meadow Lark (party)
The party of night-staff and residents from the Meadow Lark eldercare facility in Wenatchee, Washington, camped at the borough boss's stairwell on the first floor when Carl and Donut find them: four able-bodied workers, Agatha and thirty-three elderly residents, with about thirty more in a Waffle House safe room nearby. The Royal Court of Princess Donut fights beside them without ever joining them.

The book's moral test and the series' first allied party. Fought beside, never joined. Reduced from 250 to 36 residents and three workers by the time they descend (B1 ch. 41). Zev files them as a completed storyline (B1 ch. 44); the book does not.

Meadow Lark (party) in book 1 — Dungeon Crawler Carl
Meadow Lark is a party name in the interface and an eldercare facility in Wenatchee in the world: 250 residents evacuated by a fire Agatha set, about half pulled into the dungeon's warm ramp, thirty-eight at the borough boss's gate, the four workers and Agatha among them (ch. 22). The ones in the Waffle House safe room, which holds thirty, vote not to come out (ch. 22); twenty-four stay behind, singing, when the floor collapses (ch. 31). The Royal Court fights beside them without joining them: the Ball of Swine (ch. 26), the descent, the grub trap, the train (ch. 37), the Rage Elemental (ch. 38), the people buckets down the ramp (ch. 41). Zev calls it a storyline that plays great with most viewers and is 'dead weight' to twenty per cent of a focus group. Carl never settles whether keeping them alive was a kindness.
