God · from book 4
Ysalte
'Ysalte, the Vinegar Bitch': a god one of the escaping feral gods began to summon during the bubble escapes, 'an extinction-level event for this floor and the next'; the Syndicate blocked the summoning and some, not all, secondary summonings after it.

Book 4 — The Gate of the Feral Gods
The AI's aside on secondary summonings: one of the gods a feral would have summoned was 'Ysalte, the Vinegar Bitch', an extinction-level event for two floors, blocked until the sponsorship bidding is through (B4 ch. 33).
Book 5 — The Butcher's Masquerade
The epithet without the name: Samantha says Diwata's descent has 'something to do with the Vinegar Bitch and Eileithyia' (B5 ch. 62). Book 4 gave the epithet to Ysalte; book 5 does not repeat the name.
