Arc

Bopca Protector of the McDonald's safe room (ch. 9, ch. 10, ch. 14): a level-63 Non-Combatant who has prepared for years to cook for humans and is 'not prepared for cat.' He makes vindaloo at spice level four, refuses questions that are not about safe rooms, moves to a random lower floor when this one collapses, and watches the premiere in the booth. His people were offered to the show in exchange for not mining their world; the Squim, he says, leave nothing behind.
