The A-Team and MacGyver

Real 1980s American television series that Carl leaves on when he goes to work, and from which Donut absorbed her sense of how a plan comes together — she names three goblins B.A., Face and Murdock and calls the redoubt something they would have built. Fictional Donut's television diet is one of the book's running jokes.

Arc

Donut names the goblins B.A., Face and Murdock (ch. 15) and compares the redoubt to something from The A-Team or 'the real MacGyver with the hair and the stargate' (ch. 26) — Chris's one contribution is 'I liked that show.' Carl leaves the channel on when he goes to work (ch. 13).
