A circular maze around the first floor's stairwell with portcullis peepholes on its outer ring and a floor grooved for walls that rise and fall (ch. 21–ch. 26). Most of the cops and firefighters with Meadow Lark went in and were gone in five minutes. When the ball pops the walls retract into a blacklit arena the size of a quadrant (ch. 27).
