Opening
The Silk Road was set up like a farmer’s market.
Summary
The Silk Road: a farmer's market of magic, one row of stalls and a lone booth at the back, Hobgobs and Boom Sticks, run by Pustule — a hobgoblin with a weeping sore, a unicorn T-shirt, a dead mother who bit a vorpal muskrat, and perfect hearing. Hob-lobbers, fused and impact; claymore pancakes at 5,000 gold; a promise of smoke curtains; and a valuation of the boom jug at 7,500 after she licks it.
Walking home, Donut plans a dog-training book and a new episode of Gossip Girl with Zev; Mongo, released, screams and bolts into an alley.
