Summary
Manasa's last song. Back in the saferoom, Zev thinks they were dead; Mordecai learns Carl called the king a pussy and his son lasered the wrong boat. The Valtay have since blown the royal yacht to dust, the queen consort and the Maestro believed aboard: 'His wife is dead,' Mordecai says of the king. In chat, Carl's suspicion: Stalwart's statement was too ready — someone let the orcs kill their own ally, and Borant benefits most. New rule from Mordecai: no more talk about anyone outside the dungeon until the sixth floor.
Hobgoblin dynamite tested from a roof, collapsing a building's face. The Apito Education Center: three wand-bearing city elves who call Donut the Oak Fell, boast of torturing GumGum for their names, and eat acorns for Magical Fervor; fifteen dwarf children next door and a pregnant mother with a rolling pin. When an Icer freezes Eunice and the guards raise swords over a child, Carl punches a level-75 guard and is branded a troublemaker; Mongo bites off Ricky Joe's arm; 'Mic drop!' — a jug tossed straight up, Puddle Jumper, and the temple burns.
