The krasue

Floating women's heads trailing their organs, vampires by night and shop assistants by day: the Over City's ghost-class henchwomen, made by Remex from women lured to town, kept safe in a meat locker by a dead magistrate's fetish. Killed only with magic, and only truly by destroying the bodies.

Progression

Three in an alley over GumGum (ch. 16); four from under the magistrate's building (ch. 21); thirty hanging by their ankles in the meat locker with their heads half off (ch. 22). Ghost-class, killed only by magic — Donut's missiles, Mongo's fangs, a Fireball — and truly only by destroying the bodies. Burgundy is one, and explains them.
