Gore-Gore
Ochre line engineer, a ManTauR — a man's body with a second torso and pair of arms where the neck should be, blue Braveheart paint, Wolverine claws — level 40, an adherent of Grull, who explains the abyss gate to 'Princess Donut' and then, told who crashed his train, fights as a neighbourhood boss. Electrocuted on the third rail with a war god ten seconds from arriving. The mantaurs are the last employees to 'hold the faith.'

Arc
Out of a crashed engine and onto the platform believing the party are fellow passengers, he explains the abyss gate, the deep-cleaning, the Kravyad's portal and why engineers never leave the cab (ch. 11). Someone — the cleric, Donut guesses — tells him who crashed the train; the boss fight gives Carl the gauntlet's counter — 1.5, 3.0 … 10.5 — a ten-second timer and a drop kick onto the third rail. He drops an engineer's key, hair restorer and the whole ochre line's map (ch. 12). Two of his kind guard the employee line at the end and one becomes a god's vessel; the other, in pieces, the second (ch. 32, ch. 33).
