Motif · Book 5, The Butcher's Masquerade

Donut's show business

Cat shows at a two-star Holiday Inn, a Ke$ha act in Cleveland, a rider and an instruction booklet, a review of the elf theatre ('There is no thrust… No wings at all. None, Carl'), and Mongo's low-key pet-show entry: Anaconda on a boombox of trap modules, signal-flare smoke, three lady Mongos with a paper heart, and a moonwalk. Best in Show goes to a meatball.
