Motif · Book 5, The Butcher's Masquerade

Zerzura

A spell the lawyer suggested and the Sledge carries: it moves a whole town — buildings and NPCs, no mobs or stairwells — one floor down, or on the Scolopendra levels three; Remex the Grand used it, and his season is studied in school for the carnage it led to and the exit deal it bought. 'Everybody likes carnage when it's not them.' The only town left is the castle.
