Arc

Zev's assistant now, on loan from Odette's show while orbit belongs to the Open Intellect. In an unwatched minute in the greenroom she tells Carl where Victory is, that Katia is in contact, and that a confused third party guards the kinder facility — then a child's image on her pad drains her face (ch. 27). After the stampede she holsters a gun she did not fire; the ratings are the highest ever (ch. 29). The horribles are 'strangely thin, like Lexis' (ch. 91).
