By book
Eileithyia in book 5 — The Butcher's Masquerade
'Something to do with the Vinegar Bitch and Eileithyia' — Samantha on where Diwata came from; Katia, she says, has her scent (ch. 62).
Eileithyia in book 6 — The Eye of the Bedlam Bride
Sponsored by Huanxin Jinx and appearing as herself, without soul armour (ch. 17); a floor boon and a spider quest as a cover for messages the system cannot read (ch. 17); three boons in Katia's box (ch. 19). Her message after Odette's swerve: 'I shall honor our agreement' — with a threat attached (ch. 38).
Eileithyia in book 7 — This Inevitable Ruin
In her true form: flowers in her hair, an alien lower face, four breasts, three fingers and toes, 'Girl power, bitches!' — and Huanxin's voice out of her (ch. 86). Frozen until Katia makes her choice, she does not see the woman inside her die. Unfrozen and unaware: 'You have always been one of my own, as are all who've been touched by the stillness'; she senses her daughters in the kinder facility, alone and afraid, and cannot reach them; she makes Katia human, names Louis a good soul, and lays a three-fingered hand on her stomach: 'It will be a boy' (ch. 86).
