God · from book 4
Geyrun
Emberus's murdered son. Hellik denies the killing; Amayon knows something and prices it at three brothers; the crystal of Apito is a lead; and Samantha admits, out loud, 'an indirect, possibly direct hand' — because the doggie would go to the Nothing — and does not know who the guy in the hoodie was.

Book 4 — The Gate of the Feral Gods
Book 5 — The Butcher's Masquerade
An open quest only: Emberus's 'Find Out Who Killed My Son' gains a new objective — obtain the Memorial Crystal: Apito and see whether it bears on the murder — and repeats that Carl must still speak to the high cleric in Club Vanquisher (B5 ch. 77). The masquerade and the murdered son are one storyline now.
Book 6 — The Eye of the Bedlam Bride
'We have no clues as to who killed Geyrun other than the dog […] his time in the Nothing has made his memory unreliable' (B6 ch. 18). Amayon, one of the four princes of Sheol, 'may have some insight'; he laughs, says he was witness to the deal being signed, and names three brothers as the price (B6 ch. 58, B6 ch. 69).
