The Filthy Little Crawler's Book of Voodoo
A Gold Prepotente Box prize handed to nearly every crawler on the eighth floor: an untradeable, indestructible blank book that adds the name of any other owner who comes near, for pinned messages under their name — 'Not because it can secretly be used for any sort of nefarious purpose which will become clear later.' Donut refuses to use it.
First appears: Book 6
Series arc
As of book 7. A book nearly everyone carries, with a purpose 'clear later' in book 6. Book 7: Burcu draws the traps of a surgical theater in it before the AI slams it shut — 'Nice try, though'; Edgar thinks it could lend spells; Milk says whatever Carl writes in it goes to everyone who has it; and the departing crawlers paint three skills each into it — one for Carl, one for Donut, one on their own page — until it splits into two volumes, the second Carl's Book of Boom; Donut's own book is A Banquet Fit for a Princess.

The Filthy Little Crawler's Book of Voodoo in book 7 — This Inevitable Ruin
Three entries update in the Madness castle, and Burcu's page draws the traps before the book slams shut: 'This is still cheating, you clown. Nice try, though' (ch. 67). Edgar thinks it could share spells (ch. 74); Milk says anything Carl writes in it goes to everyone who has it (ch. 75). The departing crawlers each paint three skills onto pages — one for Carl, one for Donut, one on their own entry in the original book — so that it should have almost 30,000 pages, though it still has about 500; it is 'segmented into two volumes', the second Carl's Book of Boom, and Donut gets her own, A Banquet Fit for a Princess (ch. 85).
