Yellow line train conductor, a dwarf, level 32, who drinks in the employee break room from station 10 to 435 and does it again: the first NPC to explain the loop — the train resets, he does not — and the duplicating drawing of a wife Carl takes for a made-up phantom. Burned to death by Donut's suitcase of fire ants.

Arc

The first NPC to explain the floor, for Donut's sake: 435 is the end and nobody remembers past it; the train loops but he does not; a bottle poured out is back on the shelf next run; a drawing of a wife and ten gold coins duplicate every trip (ch. 5). He is saving up to buy her a house. Carl, after his death: 'There is no wife' — the floor is a day old and its NPCs were given memories (ch. 6). Burned by the fire ants from Donut's suitcase in his own break room (ch. 5).
