The Desperado Club's level-35 rock-monster bodyguards: Bomo and the Sledge at Carl and Donut's backs, Clay-ton behind Elle with his arms crossed, and two of them stunned by a woman's spell when a dagger goes into Donut.

Arc

Bomo is the sole remaining member of the four bodyguards; the other three went down with the high elf castle to the ninth floor (ch. 2). Bomo brushes Mongo, happily but with less enthusiasm than the Sledge (ch. 11); the giant cretin wears twice Paz's armour at the orisha's temple (ch. 14, ch. 16), and a goddess in her own temple transfers him to the ninth floor (ch. 17). Cretin bodyguards in the Desperado Club eye the crawlers and scatter with the rest (ch. 32); Orren agrees to let the party keep all four for the ninth floor, since they are already down there (ch. 51).
