Arc

Her team, Carl hears, was conscripted by the Madness (ch. 39). Find Crawler puts her free in the surgical theater; her Book of Voodoo page draws the Fireball traps before the book slams shut (ch. 67). Bound and tongueless, she writes: he cut out her voice box, killed her mother in front of her — 'You owe me, Carl. You killed my father. Free me now.' Carl wands her asleep, frees the bindings, and her table tips; she wakes falling, accusing, and dies in Sheol fire (ch. 68). Her teammates never say which of Carl's kills was her father (ch. 86).
