Edgar
A talking tortoise Donut chats with at Signet's camp — a Shell Mage whose secrecy spell hides an army, who sinks with the assault team, comes up with blood on his jaws like strawberry, and is the tattooist with the silver stick who sucks up the dead and inks them onto Signet's skin.
