We’d both been knocked over, but unhurt, by the shockwave.

Summary

The blast is bigger than expected; the coal pile catches and walls off the boss room, which is a mercy because Carl does not want to see what is in there. Donut, cheerfully, describes the goblin babies in oversized jackets like Baby Yoda. Level eight; a second bronze star; no fanfare.

'It made me feel like an asshole. I didn't like feeling like an asshole.' They run north before the war party returns. 'I do like it when you blow stuff up,' Donut says. 'I like it a lot.'
