Opening
The dungeon groaned. It fucking groaned.
Summary
The dungeon groans. The thirteen freed dingoes flee into the halls as a pack; a Master Pen Key that works once for a non-kobold; an arena stained red under a wall of bones; and ten cages of pitiful animals with two achievements announcing a pet reward room and telling each of them the prize is theirs.
A Riven Wing, a slime, a rat, a Tummy Acher with a mohawk, a brindle grub Carl wants — and, in the last cage, a seven-inch raw-chicken dinosaur with pink feathers that Donut must have. Thirty seconds to choose. Mongo comes out biting, eats a biscuit, bites her nose, and is named. 'I knew we should’ve gone with the grub.'
