The Moon Reaper's prophecy
Mordecai's impossible form speaks once per person: to Carl, 'the tree or the abyss?'; to Donut, a sacrifice might save her, 'their rage will be eternal'; to Rend, 'the next time will herald the beginning of the end'. Once more, unbidden, the hood drops: 'The Oak Fell lives up to her name.'
