Juice Box
The Toe's one changeling prostitute in Hump Town — a Ratkin Brood Mother, a Mouser Dame, a bald eighteen-year-old, whatever is asked — who sells information for a gold coin, wrangles forty children through a bombing, and turns out to be Henrik's sister, the keeper of her people's story, and a woman who dreams she was once a schoolteacher, a dream Louis reads as a memory of an earlier crawl. The sixth floor is her people's ancient home.

She takes in Bonnie (B4 ch. 17), dreams she was once a schoolteacher, which Louis takes for a memory of an earlier crawl (B4 ch. 28), warns Carl he is like her brother (B4 ch. 33), carries a fake box for a promise, and is sent to Larracos as a bird to tell the survivors what they are (B4 ch. 34). Juice Box in book 4 — The Gate of the Feral Gods
The prostitute
The Toe's one changeling, pouting after the party declines her (ch. 1); a Ratkin Brood Mother Attendant, a Mouser Dame, Chuck E. Cheese in drag, whatever Louis describes, who catches a coin without turning her head and, Mordecai warns, could be a gorgon, a rocksling and a forge ogre 'before you could say “Ouch.”' (ch. 5). She sells Ruckus's story for a gold coin (ch. 8) and hands out Capri Suns to forty children in a shelter (ch. 10).
The sister
Henrik's sister, and not a Principal: her people are not from here, their bodies never finished adapting, one birth in four is sick and sterile, the Hunting Grounds are their ancient home (ch. 10), and the Gate is no myth (ch. 15). She takes Bonnie's hand as a gnome woman (ch. 17), warns Carl he is like her brother (ch. 33), and dreams of being a schoolteacher whose pupils were killed, which Louis takes for a memory of her last time in the dungeon (ch. 28). She agrees to carry the winding box through a gate for a promise that Carl will try to bring her people down every floor; she carries a fake, is sent to Larracos as a bird to tell the survivors what they are, kisses Carl's cheek, and says she will marry Louis (ch. 34).
Juice Box in book 5 — The Butcher's Masquerade
Carl's promise to her needs the Gate he no longer has (ch. 1). Engaged to Louis; her people in the Liana district (ch. 8). Her people send someone to the Desperado Club every day in case Carl shows up with the plan (ch. 52); her village is in the brambles' path (ch. 54); she told her people to be careful of Carl, and trusted him anyway (ch. 58).
