A tired human Swashbuckler with a metal-detecting ability in Gwen's team, who drags a cable to the drain wheel, opens the valve part way, asks Vadim if he owns a red shirt, dives to the Akula and is carried across the ocean floor (B4 ch. 20, B4 ch. 22, B4 ch. 25, B4 ch. 27); he goes down with Katia's new party (B4 ch. 33).

One of Katia's group with Bautista, Gwen and the rest (ch. 36). At the front door with Katia in the assault (ch. 61); looting bodies with Gwen and Bautista as the Twister hovers over the church (ch. 62); flanking Lucia Mar at Chaco's counter to keep the hunters off (ch. 72, ch. 73). He and Bautista are getting hammered in the Imogen fight (ch. 76); he loses his legs, and a stranger helps him toward the stairwell while he sobs — a scroll heals him, but the legs stay gone (ch. 77).
