Arc

'Entering the Lacuna': bubble wrap seen from the outside, an egg carton of sunken worlds, a floor a few hundred feet below the water quadrant's surface, a cactus world and a half-moon of concrete, a fog like a sewer with rats and dead-meat air (ch. 30, ch. 33). Gods fight in it and vanish; a turkey eats an exploded god on it; a puppy piddles on it; a Chariot crosses it in under an hour.
