Place · Book 5, The Butcher's Masquerade
Zockau
The city in the north where the hunters are sequestered before the hunt: a 1950s American downtown with bear-men guards, a row of seven pubs, a manicured park around the stairwell and a mid-century Desperado Club ('So Fun It Hurts'). Blown to fire and fog on the first night; a ghost town of abandoned gear by the end, its hunters gone to the party and its mayor Vrah.
