The L'Engle Building

The track of heats six and seven: a seven-storey human apartment building the racers are shrunk into — LEGO-sized, then mouse-sized — each apartment a what-if scenario of a crawler's life peopled by Human Shells with their eyes sewn shut, a hidden ring on every floor, Black Lung Smog, and Khepri's scarabs bursting from the shells. Carl's Tower of Power blows a shaft to the roof portals.
