The Walk-On List

The season's list of Natives — survivors who were neither Collected nor became Crawlers — whom the producers want kidnapped into the dungeon for drama, a practice the rules forbid and no court has ever punished. Bounty crews sneak onto the planet to fill it; on Earth, in the last weeks of winter, two of them hunt a cat named Gravy Boat.

By book

The Walk-On List in book 4 — The Gate of the Feral Gods

Collected, Crawlers, Natives; a list of natives the producers want, kidnapped by bounty crews the Syndicate never punishes; a cat, a woman in a flattened tropical zone, a girl's father, a goat, a dead crawler's twin; a snapshot two days stale because Borant started early (epilogue).

The Walk-On List in book 5 — The Butcher's Masquerade

Bounty hunters selling survivors to Borant as bosses (ch. 18); explained to the audience and censored to the crawlers (ch. 19); the Syndicate's sampling of Earth's animals (ch. 41). A cat from the list is the queen's familiar (ch. 51).

The Walk-On List in book 6 — The Eye of the Bedlam Bride

Odette's walk-on list, where survivors of the collapse are taken: they would have used Bea as Queen Imogen, given the chance (ch. 46).

The Walk-On List in book 7 — This Inevitable Ruin

Named by Odette among the entertainment assets the Blood Sultanate has always owned, at the warlord council (ch. 43, ch. 44).
