Arc
Bomber guy
The only crawler who answers Carl's message to the bubble: a level-27 Boring Ol' Fighter with a Club Vanquisher ring in the land quadrant, whose team breaches four walls under a chainsaw buzzard and finds the drain that could wash the sandcastle away (ch. 2, ch. 7, ch. 20). Met in person: about forty-five, First Nations, a faded double-V forehead tattoo, arrowhead lines on her hands, a spear, a punched-in nose, a body built on hard labour; 'So you two finally fucking made it' (ch. 20). Katia: a superb fighter with no magic who says every thought aloud twice and bullies when she has made up her mind. She vaults a pazuzu on her spear (ch. 29), refuses to touch a live cable, opens the drain on Carl's word, breaks the crystal spell by sending Tran into a chamber (ch. 24), loots Anser's crypt (ch. 33), gets a new spear, and joins Katia's party for the sixth floor. Credited with liberating the tomb beside two dead men (ch. 29).
