The enriched pet biscuits

Prepotente's three Enriched Pet Biscuits from a celestial box — Nothing Special (a pet), Nothing Special Party Companion (a sapient, mute, numbered crawler), and the Paramour (a lover charmed for life). Donut forbids the Paramour; Carl feeds the Party Companion to Penelope and means to feed Nothing Special to Scolopendra — and Donut, inventories swapped, hands him the wrong one.
