Through book 2

A name in the quest chat and in a news clip Odette plays on her show: the crawler who insulted them, was blocked by Donut, and opened the one Celestial box Borant could not veto (B2 ch. 24, B2 ch. 26).

Through book 3

The Celestial jacket's owner, flying and blasting trains for their engineers and stranding everyone behind them (B3 ch. 13, B3 ch. 15); level 38 and fifth by the end; takes Prepotente's second boss (B3 ch. 35). Donut's least favourite crawler.

Through book 4

Level 43 and the highest in the dungeon on a celestial robe; wakes a boss and runs (B4 ch. 4); pops his bubble early (B4 ch. 17); hunts a level-10 puppy for a million gold and would take the cat as a bonus (B4 ch. 31). A disco ball on his shield, a tail gun, a fall; the puppy dropped to 2% from behind; a frozen grenade, a summoned god; and on the ground his whole arm in Carl's hand, with Rockard's Ring of Sniping on it — the explanation of his career (B4 ch. 31, B4 ch. 32). Tenth at the end. 'that was just a deposit.'

Through book 5

One-armed, pale, a Sergeant-at-Arms ('It should just be Sergeant-at-Arm', Donut quips, B5 ch. 8); a cosplayer with a squirting stump (B5 ch. 41); one Creeper on the tally, unseen all floor (B5 ch. 52). Not at the party, which is a relief (B5 ch. 67).

By book

Quan Ch in book 2 — Carl's Doomsday Scenario

Insults them in the quest chat, is blocked by Donut (ch. 24), survives with his own gear turned against him and opens the only Celestial box Borant cannot veto (epilogue).

Quan Ch in book 3 — The Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook

The Celestial jacket's owner — flight and blue lightning — blasting train fronts for their engineers (ch. 13) and stranding everyone behind them: Elle and Imani at 275, and hundreds more (ch. 15). Level 31 onto the leaderboard, level 38 and fifth by ch. 25; he takes Prepotente's second province boss (epilogue). 'He's a cheating poser.'

Quan Ch in book 4 — The Gate of the Feral Gods
The vulture

Level 43 at the floor's start and the highest in the dungeon, on a celestial robe that flies and, Mordecai guesses, shields and fires a blue Disrupter bolt; he wakes a boss Prepotente had asleep and runs (ch. 4); pops his bubble early and farms (ch. 17). Rockard's Ring of Sniping — every creature under half health and every creature in magical gear shown on his map — explains the career (ch. 32).

The arm

He hunts a level-10 puppy for a million gold and would take 'that fucking cat' as a bonus (ch. 31). A disco ball on his shield, a tail gun, a remote hob-lobber and a fall; back to drop the dog to 2%; frozen grenade, summoned god, a Drop Bear in a god's nose. On the ground he attacks a man he thinks invulnerable and is punched, slammed face-first into a rock and told he is a bully nobody likes; rocketing away, he leaves his whole left arm in Carl's hand, three rings on its fingers, one of them 'For Daddy' (ch. 31, ch. 32). 'Tell him that was just a deposit.' Tenth on the final board.

Quan Ch in book 5 — The Butcher's Masquerade

One-armed, pale, a Sergeant-at-Arms ('It should just be Sergeant-at-Arm', Donut quips, ch. 8); a cosplayer with a squirting stump (ch. 41); one Creeper on the tally, unseen all floor (ch. 52). Not at the party, which is a relief (ch. 67).
