Four now: Bomo, the Sledge, Clay-ton and Very Sullen lumber into the saferoom and a Mercenary Quarters door appears; Bomo and the Sledge stay with Carl and Donut, Very Sullen goes with Katia, and Clay-ton with Chris (ch. 3, ch. 4). On a floor full of NPC cretins nobody notices one of theirs unless they read that he is a member of the Royal Court of Princess Donut (ch. 5); two shells to run under (ch. 5). Carl plans cretin-sized PlayStation controllers for their too-big hands (ch. 10); they are part of a deal (ch. 13); a 90s film with the cubs (ch. 50); the props cart (ch. 64); the servant ballroom (ch. 66); a mainsail raised over thirty raptors (ch. 74).

Bomo is the sole remaining member of the four bodyguards; the other three went down with the high elf castle to the ninth floor (ch. 2). Bomo brushes Mongo, happily but with less enthusiasm than the Sledge (ch. 11); the giant cretin wears twice Paz's armour at the orisha's temple (ch. 14, ch. 16), and a goddess in her own temple transfers him to the ninth floor (ch. 17). Cretin bodyguards in the Desperado Club eye the crawlers and scatter with the rest (ch. 32); Orren agrees to let the party keep all four for the ninth floor, since they are already down there (ch. 51).
