The Moon Reaper tells him he will die screaming while his family watches (B8 ch. 7); he stands in the garage circle watching Hedy work (B8 ch. 11); he tells Carl the history of the Pony Boy Guild, and Dong names his own greatest shame (B8 ch. 24). He goes into the Desperado Club's casino to find the Nothing spot, where the croupier stabs Gluteus, and then to Hamed, the club's new leader, to ask about his wife (B8 ch. 55); the system reports him 'no longer on this floor' (B8 ch. 59). By the parade he still does not know how Dong died (B8 ch. 87).
