Rooms off the corridors, each holding the guide assigned to whoever enters — Mordecai for Carl and Donut, Mistress Tiatha for the Meadow Lark party — where a crawler's inventory is switched on, boxes are opened and fight notes are reviewed. Viewers can watch the crawler there but not hear the guide.

Arc

Every guild room contains Mordecai and a different mood: the fussy host of ch. 3, the drunk debrief among empty bottles in ch. 12, the clues lecture in ch. 25, the tidied Bugaboo's room in ch. 47. Viewers can watch the crawler there but not hear the guide (ch. 35); when a kua-tin Admin is present the cameras go off entirely (ch. 36).
