Mongo

The pet Donut chooses from the kobolds' menagerie on the second floor — a seven-inch, pink-feathered 'Mongoliensis' that bites her nose and fights anything it sees. Bonded as her Royal Steed hours before the floor closes. Odette supplies the translation: velociraptor.

Arc

A lost wing regrown in an hour by a potion the vinegar goddess touched (ch. 2, ch. 3); a meatball he swallows and yaks back up (ch. 5); a Kiwi who goes to him low and uncertain and a Tina bouncing 'Pa-pa' (ch. 13). He is credited with an empress (ch. 27), sniffs the air before the door opens (ch. 12), is skanked and sprayed and dropped from trees (ch. 15), and eats the meat out of androids like a crab bake (ch. 31). Gustavo 3 quills him from the inside and shakes him by the throat; Rend saves him; Lucia pours the healing potion (ch. 72). Muscle Mommy makes him a quarter stronger (ch. 77). He backs away screeching from the news that he is going to be a daddy (ch. 80), stands by Kiwi's cot at her request (ch. 82), and chews a warlord's biomechanical heart to death: the kill credit for Epitome Tagg goes to pet Mongo, 'a present for the baby shower' (ch. 84). His daughters are Ursensus, legendary, and go to the twelfth floor with their mother (ch. 82, ch. 85).
