Known in the first book only as a dagger tattoo burned onto Carl's neck and Donut's shoulder out of a Bronze Asshole's Box, three drink tickets, and a warning that holding a Desperado Pass forfeits a Vanquisher pass. Mordecai will not discuss it before the third floor.

Akuma names its casinos as one way into the Cabaret (ch. 38); the Nothing spots have been replaced (ch. 55). It is Hamed's club now, the strippers gone to him (ch. 59); the 'Nothing' on the Wheel of Fortune comes back in quotes (ch. 79). On the last night it is jazz, murals, Mitch the croupier, the portal and the shadow mimics (ch. 85, ch. 86); a note on Clarabelle's chair says it is infested (ch. 87).
