Series arc
As of book 5. The Dom family's mother, a Shepherd healer at the crab ranch in book 2 and a vampire on the sixth floor, feeding only on her son's kills. The prime of an outbreak that walks the floor's dead, she tells her life at sunrise, asks to be killed, and dies in the sun on her son's shoulder; her death cures thousands. Her boots explain the seventh floor. She played the piano for him alone.
Through book 3
Miriam Dom is met in person on the last day, through a hole in the floor: a shepherd with a crook and an Italian accent who whacks Prepotente for what he says, kisses the spot, and makes him apologise (B3 ch. 32). Their hellspawn familiar is a horse-sized goat with black flames and six breasts. Seventh on the leaderboard.

Miriam Dom in book 2 — Carl's Doomsday Scenario
Miriam Dom in book 3 — The Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook
Fifth, then seventh. Forty, plump, a shepherd's crook, a gentle Italian accent, and total authority over a screaming goat: 'sit there and think about what you've said, Pony,' a whack, a kiss on the spot (ch. 32). Their hellspawn goat, black-flamed with six breasts, passes the hole. They lose two province bosses to Carl and then to Quan Ch (epilogue).
Miriam Dom in book 4 — The Gate of the Feral Gods
Seventh, then sixth: knocks a province boss out with the spell Mordecai thinks Louis also has (ch. 4, ch. 5); does karaoke with Katia on Dungeon Sidekicks (ch. 20); comes home to find Prepotente gone, goes looking, and is cursed into a vampire — a vegan (ch. 20); her Club Vanquisher membership is revoked (ch. 25). Level 52 and 'Vampire' on the final board, stroking a screaming goat's hair.
Miriam Dom in book 5 — The Butcher's Masquerade
A vampire now — level 52, still a Shepherd healer, floating, feeding only on Pony's kills — with ten boers in her inventory (ch. 6): 'Pony, I am not going to feed on Carl' (ch. 5). She reports the caravan roads trap-free (ch. 9), sleeps by day in a shadowed town (ch. 39), and is trapped in her son's frozen arm with ten hours to dawn while the floor's dead start to walk (ch. 43, ch. 44). A vampire hunter died fighting her (ch. 46); she is the prime of the outbreak, and her death cures thousands (ch. 47). She tells her life, asks Carl to kill her, and dies in the sunrise on her son's shoulder (ch. 47); everything she owned is left in the rain (ch. 48). Her boots explain the seventh floor (epilogue).
Miriam Dom in book 6 — The Eye of the Bedlam Bride
A resemblance brings a wave of sadness (ch. 6); Prepotente's screams after she sacrificed herself to save him (ch. 32); the turkey she and Prepotente killed at the end of the bubble level (ch. 41); a clearing in the forest, remembered when Ren does the same thing (ch. 59); Prepotente's mother, for whom he will not kill Carl (ch. 64).
Miriam Dom in book 7 — This Inevitable Ruin
Miriam Dom in book 8 — A Parade of Horribles
Prepotente imagines her answers to Donut's rules (ch. 16) and calls himself 'a little stinky butt' in her voice (ch. 70). Her what-if is apartment 130 in the L'Engle Building: a concert pianist in New York who never stayed for her parents and never had him — pyjamas, a broken glass, prescription bottles, playing faster and faster (ch. 77).
