Grigori the Placid

A level-93 human Fleshmancer who worships Gula, hired by Imani and Elle and transferred to the guild to reglue Corcunda; tall, gaunt, ramrod straight, sick in the deep fryer at any speed, 'the most renowned flesh sculptor this dungeon has ever known'. He casts the joining upside down in the racing truck, is borrowed by the AI as the parade's narrator when Chaco breaks, and stumbles home when released.

Arc

Ramrod straight between Louis's crumbs and Linus's puppy eyes (ch. 54); brushes Donut ('With') (ch. 56); has never rejoined halfsies, only watched Meld (ch. 59); wants to examine Samantha's impossible withering spirit and has bodies for her (ch. 59, ch. 68). He vomits into the deep fryer at coasting speed (ch. 62, ch. 63), cannot drive (ch. 64), and casts the joining standing and inverted while Dong holds the halves (ch. 65); 'I should have asked if you worshipped a deity before you split' (ch. 66). The AI borrows him as the parade's narrator when Chaco fails (ch. 92) and releases him, stumbling (epilogue).
