The saccathian sponsor of book 3, an empress and a pet-show judge in book 5, and in book 6 an empress at the warlords' table who sells Donut's sponsorship to a waste company mid-fight and files three emergency items, one to delete the Posse, all rejected. The Prism still holds its seat.

On the Danger Zone panel to Carl's left, trying to hold his hand through the hologram, trumpeting with her tentacles at Tucker's humiliation (ch. 19). When Manasa dies she weeps black oil, condemns the Skull Empire in the Prism kingdom's name, and tells Tucker to shut the fuck up.

Sponsors five more crawlers (ch. 7); sends Donut a bronze box that upgrades the goggles to read surface and subsurface temperatures in precise detail, the benefactor's economical way to build a Legendary item over five floors (ch. 8, ch. 9). Dr. Hu's colleague expects her to 'do something stupid' (epilogue).

Empress now, her father retired, judging the pet show and talent contest because judging makes her part of the production, a loophole; cross that Carl's corporation nearly ruined her buy-in bid, in orbit and landing after tonight (ch. 66). She drinks through a tentacle (ch. 67), is served by an ethereal hand (ch. 68), gets sloshed (ch. 72), tells Signet her mother was never real and that she looked forward to meeting Carl on the battlefield outside Larracos (ch. 73), and vanishes with the seal. The Prism holds one of the two open Faction Wars spots (ch. 77).

The Empress in a warehouse castle thirty miles south with three guards and no protections worth the name (ch. 25): smoke, bangers, a dress spread like an anemone, a knife she cuts herself with to stay unmarkable, clockwork Mongos through her dress, and Carl's white anger with one foot over the edge. 'I did it for my people.' 'No, D'Nadia. You did it for you' (ch. 26). Kill credit to Mongo; Gavrilo Princip; a bankrupt dynasty (ch. 27).
