The Sluggalos in book 6 — The Eye of the Bedlam Bride
Doctor Bones's Conscript spell, a military charm that on the weak lasts pretty much forever, unlike Donut's temporary Minion Army (ch. 52); enslaved conscript crawlers who flee in the night and are run down, in a Cookbook note (ch. 54). Carl infects only one — Doctor Bones, whose Super Spreader is better than his — and the Conscript spell makes the Sluggalos fight on their side, sort of, as rebellious as totems (ch. 61); Imani corrals them (ch. 62); forty or so, level twenties and thirties with a handful of fifties, hooting and hollering behind Imani (ch. 64); a Leeroy and a retreat (ch. 65).
The Sluggalos in book 7 — This Inevitable Ruin
