A tired Swashbuckler with a metal detector in book 4, legless in book 5, in a floating chair in book 6 with his estranged mother's building holding a key, a wall-climbing crab and the 102nd's driver in book 7. In book 8 he drives a hearse with wrecked spider legs, tries to stop the fight with Li Na and says of her 'She’s just sort of lost her humanity'; his parents' apartment in the L'Engle Building is 712, his the one photo without sewn-shut eyes; he wears a red shirt at the goodbye party and goes to the Cabaret.
