Li Na

Li Jun's sister: one of the two people the Maestro leaves frozen in a hallway scene on Death Watch, whom Li Jun and Zhang are told to choose between with their two teleport points. They refuse to choose, and she escapes with them through the troglodytes into a safe room.

Arc

She killed most of her heat before the book began and casts a dread in heat four that makes the others kill each other — five of twenty-four teams survive (ch. 17, ch. 51). Poisoned, Left to Fester, meditating in her guild with her brother's eye in her head (ch. 52, ch. 54); a Changbi who cannot worship a god, and so the first through the cleaner bot: 'I am no child to protect' and 'Do not ever lose your smile' (ch. 54, ch. 61). Her Deadly Bloom on a cactus says she made it (ch. 67); she has promised to keep the war mages from turning (ch. 61). 'She’s a lot like me. She’s lost her way' (ch. 60).
