Tserendolgor's pet, a tummy acher received for going to CrawlCon: a level-20 lumpy meatball as tall as Carl, no arms, stubby legs, a giggling walk and a single-toothed mouth that could swallow him whole, and a tank for damage. 'People loved the thing.'

Arc

Rend rides as ballast on a plank, full of world-taking thorns (ch. 5). His sixth death, at a reaper's word, leaves him stronger, remembering, and weak to potatoes, so the truck's freezer becomes a hazard (ch. 25, ch. 26). Frozen chicken patties and frozen fries follow him to Gonk's stable (ch. 62); in the arena Carl says 'Eat the rich,' and he answers 'Yum' (ch. 98).
